Chapter Twenty
Why did Crispin need Lord Arcneck's consent to leave the island? Why did Lord Arcneck give permission for Crispin to try to return to Mistmantle?
Crispin needed Lord Arcneck's consent to leave the island because he is the Swan Lord and sort of the King of the island. Lord Arcneck gave him that permission/consent to leave the island because Urchin said that Gloss could have been in the boat with him and that's how Gloss got there and killed Whisper. Crispin said that Urchin did not bring the mole and told Urchin to tell Lord Arcneck what's happening at home, in Mistmantle. So Urchin told the Lord the story he told Crispin about what's happening in Mistmantle. The Lord Arcneck told them that if their island is filled with vermin they should go to Mistmantle and destroy them all.
Crispin needed Lord Arkneck's consent or permission to leave the island because Lord Arkneck is sort of the king of the island. Crispin also needed Lord Arkneck's permission because it said that Crispin served Lord Arkneck, so he had to let Lord Arkneck know that he would be leaving. Lord Arkneck gave Crispin permission to leave because Urchin told Lord Arkneck about what was happening at Mistmantle. Lord Arkneck could tell that Mistmantle needed Crispin's help, so he let Crispin go.
Crispin needed Lord Arkneck's permission to leave the island because Lord Arkneck is the boss of the island, like King Brushen on Mistmantle. Lord Arkneck let Crispin go back to Mistmantle because he wanted Crispin to kill all of the other "vermins" on Mistmantle.
Crispin needed Lord Arcneck's permission because he is the lord/king of the island. Lord Arcneck wanted Crispin to go back because he said to kill all of the vermin on Mistmantle, just like the one that killed Whisper.
Crispin needed Lord Arkneck's permission to leave the island because Lord Arkneck is kind of like the king,Lord Arkneck let Crispin go to mist mantle to kill the "vermons" like the one that killed Whisper.
Crispin needed to have Lord Arkneck give him permission because the Lord is the head of the Island and sort of the leader of everyone. He wanted Crispin to kill all the vermins on MistMantle because he felt bad about Whisper dying because of them.
