Why did Padra sketch the plan of the tunnels in ashes from the hearth for Urchin?

  1. Padra sketched the map of tunnels because he thought he was going to be arrested or taken away. Then he can't go to the secret palace to save the animals that were supposed to be culled. So Padra told Urchin about the tunnels so he can save the animals instead.

  2. Padra drew the map in ashes so nobody could see it. He also made the map in ashes because he said if he gets arrested he will need someone to go to the secret palace to check on the young ones that were supposed to get culled. Padra made a map of the tunnels because the was that Padra goes is impossible for a squirrel.

  4. Padra sketched the picture of the tunnels because if somthing ever happened to him he wanted Urchin to take care of the animals for him that are about to get culled. So he showed the ways in the tunnels if that ever did happen because he knows people are spying on him.

  5. Padra drew the tunnels in the ashes so other animals wouldn't know it was the tunnels because it was in the ashes. The animals would think it was nothing. Also it would come in handy as a reminder to where the tunnels are.

  6. Padra drew the map of the tunnels in the ashes because people would k now what it was if it was drawn on something else, like paper or rock, etc.
