Chapter Nine

Please reread the last two pages (104 and 105) of this chapter and discuss what you think the ending of this chapter implies.

  1. I think husk put Crispin name in there more than once so he'd have a more chance of getting picked and not Husk since he, i think, was the murder. He might have taken his name out to.

  2. I sort of agree with you, Leah. Urchin found some leaves with Crispin's claw mark on all of them, so he must have put Crispins claw mark in the bin more than once. I don't agree with you when you said Husk had taken his mark out. I think he never even put his claw mark in the bin.
    Urchin might tell Captain Padra about this. Or he might try to stop Husk himself and get hurt or killed.

  7. Matt I disagree with you because if he left how would he be able to leave the leaves? Also he couldn't come back to Mistmantle because of the mists.

  8. @ Leah & Jake possibly but it also could be that Husk just put his own claw mark and mark it as Crispin's.
