Chapter Twenty-one
Please reread the second paragraph on page 216. Based on context, what do you think a dais is?
I think a dais is a platform or a stage. Where they put chairs and a table on it so the King, Husk, Aspen, Granite, Tay, and Padra could sit. It's also a place where they share their speeches from to the audience. You usually share your speeches from a stage or a platform.
I think it means some kind of platform that might be raised
